Regarding payment of membership fees

Due to the recent increase in fraudulent credit card use, and in response to requests from credit card companies, we have been conducting card validity checks (authorization) from March 2023 in order to operate in a more secure manner.


*What is authorization?

It is a system to check whether a customer's registered credit card is in a position to make payments.

This refers to the process in which the card company checks whether the credit card is valid and whether the credit limit has been reached, and then reserves the credit card's credit limit.


If the credit card information held by Novelbright Official FanClub "NOVELCITY" expires, you will be automatically unsubscribed.

Even if your membership is automatically cancelled due to the above reasons, if you re-register within one month using the same Plus member ID (email address), your original membership status and membership period will be retained.

However, please note that if more than one month has passed, you will no longer be able to use the service with your membership status or continued period.


If you use credit card payments and think that your registered credit card may have expired, please check that there are no problems with your registered card information (card number and expiration date).

If there are any changes to your registered card information, please update it following the steps below.

Also, please update your credit card whenever its expiration date changes in the future.


<How to check and change your credit card information>

Log in to Novelbright Official FanClub "NOVELCITY" with your Plus member ID (or registered email address) and password.

② Select "Check, change, or suspend card information" on My Page.

③Enter your password again

④ Your credit card information will be displayed. If you need to change the card information because it has expired, for example, select "Change Card Information" and enter the correct information.

You cannot complete the procedure from the app, so please make sure to access the site using a browser (Safari/Chrome).

*Operation of in-app browsers (Yahoo JAPAN app and Google app) is not guaranteed.


Please note that we are unable to investigate credit card usage.
