The second trailer for the TV anime "Ice Wall," which is scheduled to be broadcast nationwide simultaneously on 28 TBS affiliates every Thursday from 11:56 p.m. starting April 2, 2026, has been released!
The PV also features a snippet of the opening theme, Novelbright 's new song "Transparent."
The TV anime "Ice Wall" is based on the hugely popular comic by Kocha Agazawa, which has been viewed over 160 million times on LINE Manga (as of the end of August 2025) and has sold a total of 2 million copies (including digital editions, as of the end of December 2025, published by Shueisha Jump Comics).
Hikawa Koyuki is a high school student who has difficulty interacting with others and tends to build walls between herself and them. She spends her days quietly, hanging out with no one except her childhood friend Azumi Miki, until one day, a boy named Amemiya Minato appears and, for some reason, starts to get closer to her...? Koyuki is a reclusive girl, Miki is the school idol, Minato is a boy who doesn't want to keep his distance, and Yota is a kind and gentle basketball club member. Clumsy, frustrating, and yet lovable. This is a frustrating story of adolescent misunderstandings.
The second PV begins with the appearance of Koyuki, nicknamed "Queen," who at first glance appears to be in a bad mood. The video then depicts the worries and fluctuating emotions each of the four characters faces: Koyuki, who doesn't understand why people think she's scary; Miki, who is confused by the gap between her image and the image others have of her; Minato, who feels a "wall" in Koyuki's attitude toward those around her; and Yota, who seems troubled by his home situation. Furthermore, characters like Igarashi Tsubasa and Shimoshima Tsukiko also make appearances, and we see how they interact with the other four. Why does Koyuki, who felt more comfortable being alone, end up hanging out with Miki, Minato, and Yota? Novelbright 's new song "Transparent" accompanies this youthful ensemble drama, woven together by trivial events, coincidences, and misunderstandings, empathizing with their feelings.
Please look forward to the anime starting to air.
