Today, information on the theme song for the second season of this series was released! The new song "ラストシーン" has been selected as the opening theme!

"Yowamushi Pedal LIMIT BREAK" is the fifth season of the hugely popular TV anime series that depicts the story of Sakamichi Onoda, a high school student who loves manga and anime, who meets his friends in the cycling club and grows in the world of road racing.

The second season will depict the second half of the fierce battles at the midsummer Inter-High School Championships, where the teams clash with top schools from around the country.

"Yowamushi Pedal" is a bicycle road racing comic by Watanabe Wataru that is currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten) and is receiving rave reviews.

The fifth season of the popular TV anime series, "Yowamushi Pedal LIMIT BREAK," has finally begun! The story follows Sakamichi Onoda, a high school student who loves manga and anime, as he meets his friends on the cycling club and grows in the world of road racing.

Sakamichi and his friends' fight to win back-to-back championships at the Inter-High School Championships for the second time is finally reaching its final stage!

Hakone Gakuen is fired up to reclaim their title, Midosuji is racing with his own unique strategy and only desire to win, and Sakamichi is pedaling at full speed with the feelings he has shared with his teammates in his heart.

Who will be able to muster their final strength, push past their limits, and cross the glorious finish line?

■STORY

Sakamichi Onoda led Sohoku High School to victory in the Inter-High School Championships during his first year.

He has been promoted to his second year with Imaizumi and Naruko, and is aiming for consecutive championships with his new team and captain Teshima!

And then the summer Inter-High School Championships arrived.

Hakone Academy, the reigning champions eager to avenge their loss from last year, continues to win results one after another, led by new captain Izumida, and is on a winning streak. With Hakone Academy regaining their champion status, Sohoku once again becomes the challenger and finds themselves in a difficult position.

Meanwhile, the final day of the race finally begins!

Kyoto Fushimi Midosuji, who reached the finish line on the second day, is also moving into a new phase...

As each team's fighting spirit burns, will Sakamichi be able to believe in the bonds he has built with his teammates and reach the glorious goal?
